SNOW!

Was just in the kitchen fixing up dinner when Alan peered out the window and said, "I think it's snowing."
Me : Nah, it's just sleet.

It so wasn't.

AAH! Was so so so awesome! All out snow fight with whole of Eastwood. Built a horny snowman (don't ask, but we had some spare carrots). Snowball fights with Westwood and Solsbury and Malborough Courts. Carrying around big chunks of snow around and asking people where they were from, "I'm Eastwood! Hold it!". Some people even had catapults. Some dude was carrying a huge ass drain pipe. Stuck by Jenny (housemate) and next door Jenny ( I know 3 Jennys man..) most of the time. Stuck with Boy Next Door when I lost everyone :) .Someone left a huge ass snowball on Eastwood 2's doorstep too. Me and Jenny tried to steal it but we broke it trying to push it down the stairs! It was huge! Used the remnants on Dan and Sven. Went back with the 2 Jennys and Sven made hot chocolate. Ended today playing 3 card brag and I lost.

Good day :).

Okay, guy on left is Boy Next Door and the dude with the funny looking hat is Matt, also from next door. My camera battery died in the middle of all this. *Sigh*

Play It Safe

Texting in accounts lecture:

Me: The row at the back of you. On the left. First guy wearing black next to the guy with the cap.

Jenny L: First first guy to the right by the aisle? Cute! What's his name? Have you seen Karina's?

Me:Yup, the guy near the aisle. His name's S******. Haven't see Karina's! Haven't seen her today either!

Me: Where are you seating? Are you even in accounts?

Karina: I'm not there! Why? You want to show off your boy? Tell me when there's a break and I'll come down!

Me: Haha! Me and Jenny wanna see yours too.

I think we learned about costs or something in accounts. :\

Big hoo-ha over Boy Next Door. Everyone knows. He still doesn't. He probably will very soon.

Missed watching 3rd presentation on Thursday. Was having coffee and catching up with the girls. Ben says we're a disgrace to the group.

It snowed this morning. I missed it.

Missed it because spent the night before squeezing into Ian's bed with Sven and Jenny playing shadow puppets until one in the morning.

Still wasn't sleepy and came up with the grand idea to throw 1p coins at Eastwood 2's window and laughing as we watched their reactions, hiding behind my curtains.

Boy Next Door asked me today if I heard anything going on outside my window last night. :

Piled up under OB coursework essays. 2000 words down, 1000 to go.

Three more weeks to home. I miss my family.

London tomorrow. Can't wait. In dire need of some time off.

Drunken Antics Part 1

Sven got a 'First' for his presentation and is on an all out celebration tonight :). He came back to change before going down to town and was all tipsy already. I was sitting on the stairs bemused at his antics and laughing as he tried to get dressed drunk.

Sven: Okay Azy baby, I'm off! Don't wait up!
*Leans in to kiss my cheek*
Sven: Where's your cheek?
Me:...............

He had 4 shots of Absinthe. Nuff said.

Was entertained by some incredibly sexist jokes by Dan and Ian during dinner.

Why did the woman cross the road?
That's not the point. Why is she not in the kitchen?

Snide!

Shoot The Arrows

So the feeling of freedom only lasted for a while. I've still got my Organizational Behaviour coursework due. IN TWO WEEKS. Things are going by so fast. It doesn't feel like it's my 7th week here in uni, but at the same time it feels like i've been here forever. Quite worried about my OB work. Tempted to not do it at all and just get that 40% pass grade. *Sigh* More meetings in the library then.

It's whack how we can't download stuff here, BUT it's so much fun being able to access other people's playlists through ITunes. Been on an overdose of Jimmy Eat World, Foo Fighters, Hi-Fi and Imogen Heap (thanks to Sven). Am currently listening to Cassidy's "Get No Better"! Missing clubbing with everyone back home :D. Just one more month to home.

Spent some time with Boy Next Door this afternoon.

I'm quite confused actually. I get quite far in and pull back at the last minute. I know why I'm holding myself back, but I really don't feel like I should.

IAN JUST SHOWED ME THE MOULDIEST BREAD EVER THAT WAS IN HIS SHELF!!!!!!ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

It's someone's birthday tomorrow. A VERY special birthday call is in order to make his day. :)

We got a well deserved "second upper" for our context presentation! Was so nervous about presenting, but was so happy to know that Millington thought our performances were EXCELLANT. Oh yeah. Spending 5 hours in the library every day, late nights on MSN passing on files, Jenny and me pacing around in my room practicing our speeches, early mornings and late nights were all worth it in the end. Had an all out celebration that started off in Mendip Westwood. Managed to make it even with Ben calling every 5 minutes to say, "We've started drinkingggggggg!"An hour of very entertaining drinking games (guys-high pitched voices, girls-low pitched voices!). Went off to the Plug Bar ( I wanted to see Christian who was working that night :) ) and we joined in on kareoke (sp?) singing "Want You Back" by Take That. Ended the night at Tease at Playground in town. I gotta admit, I'm gonna really miss working on a project- everyone bonded so well!Gonna miss Karina's pestering to make our powerpoint more "animated", singing Rasa Sayang with Jenny to relieve the stress and Sean's face lighting up everytime there's any amount of economics involved.

Anyhoo, it was a fantastic night. Am now just relishing the fact that it's all over!

In the midst of drinking games.

Camwhoring as well.

Crazy Polish girl! Karina was one of the first people I met here in Bath. We were both lost! It was a nice coincedence we were in the same context group.

The fact that it was freezing wasn't bringing us down.

Three way between Jenny, Karina and Dave. :)

Singing "Back For Good"!

Plug Bar.

In Playground. What the hell was I doing? Ben felt left out by us girls slutting it up.

So hyped up that even the boys left earlier than we did. Weaklings. :P

So she says

Sly smiles across the lecture hall.

You would think in a town like Bath, life goes by pretty slowly. That's not happening. Things are going by so fast with so many things going on you can't help but be sucked into it. I keep thinking about the things I do here, the new things I've done that I never did back home. I'm all on my own here, and I'm welcoming the challenge so much that even I'm surprised.

Sometimes, I get a bit worried if certain things will change me. I worry that these things might change me for the worse actually. I keep telling myself it's all part of having fun here and enjoying a whole new experience. I just hope people understand that too.

OCEANA

Tokyo Bar

WARNING: If you're used to pictures taken in clubs showing people all glammed up and looking good, in a sober-ly state-these are nothing like those. :

Never ask drunk people to take photos for you.

Oceana, Bristol on Monday night. It was organised by the Management Society-so it was basically around 200 of us, most from BBA1. 200 Business Admin students= FUN. Oceana is easily one of the best clubs EVER. Seven different rooms in three storeys- The Main Deck, Aspen Ski Lodge, Boudoir Paris, Tokyo Bar, 70's Disco, Harbourside Sydney and (my fav!) Icehouse Reykjavik! (It kinds reminded me of Zouk actually). It was so fun going from one place to another and checking the whole place out. And everyone was there! Unlike the rowing social I went to where I knew no one! Plus, NO CHEESY MUSIC. Pure Bliss.

Danny Boy! Easily the better dancer out of the trio of boys. (Not the best :P )

Sandwiched between Jenny and Ian.

Sven being himself, I guess..

Best group mate ever! No one knows Econs like Sean. Was under strict orders from our group leader David to not get Sean drunk. Sorry Dave. :) (Stinky Ian at the back there)

Me and my favourite Jones-ey a.k.a. Ben :) We were obediant to David and didn't get drunk. Ben was so amazed at his self-control. This picture was like, the 5th we took- Ben's so bad at taking pictures.
Nice to get away from the work for a while. Now it's back to preparing for the dreaded presentation, finishing up the stupid organisational behaviour coursework and just catch up with all my reading and seminar work! ARGH! It's back to stressful times..

Forgive me..

For I have sinned...

They were the product of retail theraphy on Wednesday, on what was a pretty shitty day. Hope everyone had a good Raya and Deepavali! Mine was spent like any ordinary day here. :( Bah! So much work! Looking forward to me context presentation-we've already made plans to celebrate after. Heehee.

Saturday is Guy Fawkes Night!! There's gonna be a huge public event on campus-funfair, fireworks and the whole shebang. Can't wait!

Sunsets on the eastside

Mondays are just the longest days here. The days I have the most classes. The first of which starts at a horrible 9.15. Bah. But I got the best surprise when I came back after law (which was cancelled in the end) and Jenny waving madly in the air a little green piece of paper with my name on it- PACKAGE BABY! We trotted off to the mail room and walked back with me carrying my brown package tied up in a string.

Mummy sent me some brownies, layer cake, dodol and baulu. :D Yay. Everyone had a taste of everything and my brownies are almost gone. Sheesh. Must hide the rest away!

Quiet night in tonight. I have my context group meeting at 8 bloody 15 tomorrow. As David nicely put it on the voicemail he left me,
"I'm afraid it's a horrible 8.15 start tomorrow morning Azy."

Ergh. And at 3.15 it's my OB group meeting. OB reminds me of sociology. The lecturer reminds me of Sally. It's bad.

Boys are off at Caddilacs. Cannot handle two weeks in a row at Caddies. Cannot handle two weeks of cheese music.

But stupid me, they went with Eastwood 2. Which included boy next door. Fabuloussss.
